Zamfara polls: Tribunal takes decision

The National/State House of Assembly Election Petition Tribunal for Zamfara on Tuesday granted motion ex-parte seeking its leave to serve petitions by way of substituted means on respondents. Justice Ajoke Adepoju, who led the three-man panel granted the motion ex-parte on the ground that personal service by the bailiff of the tribunal has proved abortive, as told by the petitioner’s Counsel, Mr Zakawanu Garuba.

Buhari reacts to killing in Kaduna, Rivers

President Muhammadu Buhari has condemned the violence in Adara community in Kaduna State which claimed the lives of 20 members of the community. In a statement signed and forwarded to DAILY POST by his media aide, Garba Shehu, Buhari said: “These unfortunate deaths are the latest incident between the Adara and Fulani peoples in the state, who have a long history of mistrust between themselves.”
